Jordan P. Cameron
Jordan's current position - Director of Instructional Design & Curriculum Development for Edovate Learning Corp, is fairly new. She's directing the strategic and day-to-day design and development of online and hybrid curriculum products, managing teams of instructional designers, curriculum developers, and project managers, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to set the direction for Edovate's innovative education products.
As the Program Development Standards & Practice Lead for Accessibility at Western Governors University, Jordan Cameron collaborated with Design & Development faculty and stakeholders from a variety of WGU org units to make learning environments work for the university's 142,000 students. She joined Western Governors University in January of 2019 as a Curriculum Program Manager in the College of Information Technology.
Prior to joining WGU, Jordan served as Assistant Director of the Distance Learning Center at Kennesaw State University. Her primary area of responsibility was Academic Accessibility, and in this role, she collaborated with all units on campus to provide guidance in the areas of procurement, testing and evaluation of software/hardware, development of accessible materials and learning environments, policy development, and professional learning. She holds CPACC (Certified Professional in Accessibility Core Competencies) certification from the International Association of Accessibility Professionals and has won several accessibility focused awards including 2018’s Campus Technology Magazine’s Impact Award for IT Infrastructure & Systems for the captioning system and process designed and implemented by her team. As a faculty member for Kennesaw State, she taught graduate courses in the Bagwell College of Education on professional learning in schools, technology implementations, and online learning design & development. Jordan entered the world of higher education as an instructional designer. Prior to that, she was a media and technology specialist and a K-12 teacher.

Aside from her Campus Technology award, Jordan has also been recognized as a KSU Shining Star, Bagwell College of Education Outstanding Graduate Faculty Member (chosen by an Outstanding Graduate Student), Kennesaw State University Diversity Award Winner (Presidential Commission on Disability Strategies & Resources: Carol J. Pope Award for Distinction), and a national award winner for distance learning innovation (AliveTek Wagner Award for Innovation in Distance Learning Administration).

Jordan holds an Education Specialist degree in Learning, Design, and Technology from the University of Georgia. She enjoys spending time with her family (husband, son – 16, and daughter – 10), traveling, attending concerts, and cheering for the Atlanta Braves and Georgia Bulldogs. She loves binge watching Parks & Recreation and will read books when she should be sleeping.
